For SEGA Master System: Wonder Boy III Dragon's Trap (platformer RPG) Power Strike II (shoot 'em up) Phantasy Star (RPG) Penguin Land (puzzle-ish) Hang On (racing) Good games across several genres with a strong SMS flavour. 🤝

I'm curious, peeps: For your favourite console, handheld, or computer, what starter pack of games (Let's max it out at five) would you recommend to someone to show it and best introduce them to it?

My personal top 5 would probably be... 1. Alex Kidd in Shinobi World 2. Power Strike II 3. Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Fantasy Zone II 5. Wonder Boy III

I like we have no choices in common despite the fact I chose one you literally wrote :D

Imagine if I had listed 5 of my own games. Looking at your list now I'd probably take Sonic 1 instead of something.

I love the Penguin Land concept but never got anywhere in it. Tough game. Power Strike II, absolutely awesome.

A light phaser game is a good shout! Although I was only really familiar with Safari Hunt and Operation Wolf.
