my company introduced a new attendance policy where we get demerits if we clock in even a minute (read: even 1 second) late, but also they round up if we clock in early. i have to log in on a website to clock in. some days, it takes multiple minutes if the page is slow or it texts a totp code fuck

my boss does not really care, so she overrode it the first time i was 10 seconds late clocking in one day. hr was like, nope, we must punish his tardiness and reversed it now i clock in from my phone while im walking across the parking lot and there is nothing they can do to stop me
