Tonight I’m testing out making glow (under UV light) liquid using the highlighter ink method. Just rip the cartridge out and let seep out into water! There’s also tips to stir in some white glue to make it milky and more suspended. Will try one of those too.

It works pretty well, tbh, and this isn’t even fully soaked into the water yet. I bet the opaque glue version is really cool too. #Halloween #Halloween2026

Realized this morning that I can probably turn the empty highlighter shells into “candles” by putting a small, flickering LED into the barrel and maybe some glue drips to make them look waxy. The clear tops will have a ready-made flame shape almost, after a little masking. #Halloween
