Why do all the idiot males who send me private messages present themselves as military men? Do they think that that makes them more attractive?

In my experience, I've observed two types of military men: 1. Married family-men who joined to serve their country, 2. Really, really weird and/or borderline creepy presumed current or future sex pest. You can confidently assume that any messages you receive are from the latter camp.

That too. Pretty weird flex, IMO. I mean, nothing screams "I'm an ideal partner with no divided time or devotion" like somebody enlisted in military service.
