"FTX’s revenues were growing at an astonishing rate: from $20 million in 2019, to $100 million in 2020, to $1 billion in 2021." Did you know the unaudited balance sheet distributed for FTX's Series B-1 in 2021 showed only a single bank account with only $1.5m?

"Sam explained that he was trying to decide whether to simply pay off the $9 billion Bahamas national debt himself, so the country could fix their roads and build schools and so on." It may sound absurd for Sam to pay $9,000,000,0000 but they did issue about $40,000,000,000 in tethers!
