This is a funny joke but it also reflects biased media coverage. Conventional cars catch on fire all the time. They just don’t get covered because it’s not considered news. When i was at ars I passed on most Tesla battery fire stories for this reason.

I guess it says something that a Tesla caught fire and blew up and most assumed it was a battery issue.
