yeah, sure man, the most anti-corruption president ever, who rolled back obama's rules on scam colleges in 2017, and who ran a scam school himself for several years, is definitely going for those guys and not "the liberal arts as a concept."

trump has gone after dei explicitly and shut off funding to a lot of stuff out of spite, he's a scam artist but... the actual rulemaking and transparency bill themselves, on their face, are pretty reasonable prestoncooper93.substack.com/p/five-takea... things happen that aren't just trump

idk man not trying to trigger you I guess I take information from all sources and try to evaluate it with some discernment based on what I know of the biases of the authors and their orgs if your version of that process means dismissing aei associated ideas out of hand, that's fine

PhD from george mason and an employment history of three right-wing think tanks? yeah, very happy assuming this is low-perplexity output that is far more AI-replaceable than a licensed cosmetologist. mouth sounds mouth sounds low taxes mouth sounds

yea I linked him bc I follow his newsletter and he was on the rulemaking and both his journalism and opinion on this is by and large pretty solid, he is my go to reference for college cost stuff it sounds like we have a pretty wide gap in how we evaluate sources to pay attention to

but also, the actual text of the rule matters, the actual text of the bill matters judging only by the fact that trump is an asshole (or that someone from aei wrote about it) doesn't in fact help you understand the contents of the rule or the bill
