Very good...kinda buys in to Turin test. Of course, we work animals for no pay, so I'm not sure the argument can stand on its own

Turning Test is about Sapience and Sentience and honestly those lines have always been a bit fuzzy but we don't use animals for labor nearly as much as we used to. And the US still engages in slavery. It doesn't mean we shouldn't stand against other immoral things just because another wrong exists.

Hard agree about fuzzy. It's something we are seeing more, for example in greater numbers of observed ADHD... the more we examine and discriminate, so the old language/perspective is less useful

Wait a second. No. I can't believe it. You BOTH missed it? That was an honest-to-god typo? Do you have any idea of the comedic genius you just accidentally executed and completely missed, repsectively? THE ''TURIN'' TEST??? HELLO???? You're doing Sammy Obeid-level puns BY ACCIDENT???

I love the last line of this so much that I actively tried to think of whose comedic voice it reminds me of, and for some reason the first two that sprang to mind were Jane Austen and pre-Riyadh Bill Burr😂
