The first Amazon order for a total of $187.98 was for 1,100 AA batteries providing a few extras "just in case" (I ordered a few extra of almost everything) for which I apologized to my friend and the delivery driver; that was not a light load.

I also spent around $100 on paint pens (to mark positive and negative) and foam double-sided tape to deal with a battery holder supply issue (seriously they evaporated in the last 2 months! There were PLENTY when I started this project) but that order was mixed with a spare charger and incidentals.

Which leads me to the largest order from Digikey for $1,323.22 to cover the following parts: 520 ESD bags 2,100 LEDs (4 for each kit) 550 resistors 260 battery holders with wires 250 battery holders with 13mm pitch pins (the replacement holder)
