You are bound to read responses that tell you that Data centers does not use up potable water but recirculates cooling fluid, it is bull💩 Data centers EAT potable water and reduces the water tables in all areas they are built.

Some water may be lost most of it doesn't just disappear. It gets contaminated by their cooling process. Reclamation/recovery of cooling water should be mandated for these facilities. Of course, these greedy bastards will fight this since reclamation more expensive than throwing the water away!
