"controlled by a US company" is the problem here, it should not, it should never have been, and if it is, any contract that allows this should be terminated with immediate effect. We do not need Palantir in this country, nor having acces to our data. End of.

the server location thing is a red herring, US CLOUD Act reaches any data a US company controls regardless of where the racks sit
