Thank god for that Robotic surgery is a great way of turning a 90 minute operation into a 5 hour ordeal

Don't worry, robotic surgery is just fancy keyhole surgery where the arms going through the keyhole can bend. It's still a human controlling it at all times

The surgeon puts the keyhole ports into the patient then puts the thin robot arms through. The surgeon is sat in the room at a console to move the arms. The robot arms are good at transforming big movements from bulky hands to small movements so it's good for precision work. Not automated at all
