just about a day out from organizing the second largest (as far as I can tell?) @atproto.com event to date with so many incredible peers in NYC for our community and I’m still just… so pleased with how it went.

I’ve been running events for just over a decade and the atproto.nyc community day was the single smoothest event I’ve ever been lucky to be a part of.

every other organizer stepped up and did their part and there was no drama, no major issues.

every single attendee was incredible and it felt incredibly concentrated, despite how many different parts the whole event was composed of.

@recurse.com was a really incredible host and I’m beyond thankful for them lending us their space. Particularly @evakhoury.bsky.social for taking care of all the pre-organizing and @jollysonali.bsky.social for showing up during the event. Incredible time.

also very directly @sri.xyz made the event SO SPECIAL with all the incredible atmosphere integrations. Single handedly making it a unique and special, once-in-a-lifetime event. Insane props to him, we are SO lucky to have him.

I’m beyond thankful that I was able to be a part of this and I can’t wait to see what we get to work on in the future <3
