Calling Polish game devs! 🇵🇱 As more of us arrive here on Bluesky it would be great to re-create the network we've had. Here's a Polish Game Dev starter pack to make it easier. Please let me know if I should add you or someone, and consider reposting for reach! #StarterPack #GameDev #PolskiGamedev

Where did you get the number "over 300 studios" from? I am quite sure that there is way more (if solo-dev counts as a studio). And please add me too.

Well, this strongly depends on the source. There's this yearly report that's a joint-effort of IDGP and ARP, and they say it's over 400, but that's based on submissions and it doesn't take into account that many of the studios that made their list over the years already shut down.

Even more studios are shutting down now, so I wouldn't say it's still over 400, if that ever was the case, but I wager it's still over 300. And yes, of course I'm counting solo devs :) I am one! Adding you now! I had no idea you were Polish / in Poland.

I think I have found this report, it seems to focus on people working in the "game industry" somewhat formally. A bit like a cooking report counting only restaurants, not home cooks or cool cooking bloggers to follow :)
