Here's a question, dose the Save Act require voters to re-register to vote to prove you're a citizen? Seems like an extra hassle. I've been registered to vote since I was 18. luckily I went through the process to get a passport and real ID recently but it takes time and energy.

If every voter needs a passport, and has to apply for a new one, it'll bog down the agencies that issue them and other documents causing delays which will suppress voting. Acquiring all the documents takes time and money, so and new registration could cost more than $150 (passport + docs)

Voter registration is also tied to jury duty, so will the Save Act requirements essentially cripple the justice system if every voter needs to re-register?
