It would be awesome to get “useEffectEvent()” hook in a react minor/patch release. It has been under “experimental” build for some time now and it can be so useful. I wonder if they are holding onto it because they may be looking at ways to remove useEffect instead - if that’s possible.

YES! I only saw the announcement a few minutes ago and I'm already in the process of updating our app to 19.2. 🎉 It's awesome that now that you all have built most of the foundation needed, new features are being released frequently. It must be a great feeling for all of you. Congratulations!

Maybe useStore() is the missing hook that will allow useEffect() to be removed?
