I got asked about AI in games again! I think we underestimate how, while AI use is more rampant in the East than the West, our protections against it here are dramatically worse.

I think the obstacles AI erects are different too. In the west, current jobs are being lost, but speaking to people in the South Korean entertainment industry their concern is prospective jobs going — that smaller teams using AI removes the more basic pipelines in which juniors can cut their teeth.
