i feel so much love i had for the mario kart wii community just die bc the modding scene was so huge and impressive but i just can’t trust the average game modder to not use gen ai in everything anymore

i've always gotten so excited seeing technical achievements pop up on my radar even if they're for games i don't really play. unfortunately now i don't have the ability to really feel anything when i see something big happen given how often it's just AI-genned slop made for simple spectacle
