This 1-2 punch of Asgardian annuals I think was my introduction to Art Adams, who has the opposite of same face syndrome. So many well realized characters. Fun stories but the art was miles above what I was used to.

Top Shelf Friday time, what's a comic in your collection that you love? Dr. Strange Annual #1 from 1976. The boilerplate Romita cover gaave no clue what awaited inside. P. Craig Russell delivers a tour de force! An astounding surprise. #TopShelfFriday #comicbooks

YES, this story was fantastic. Felt like so much story was packed into just two issues, and the Art Adams drawings were incredible

They were thick issues too which was a novelty for me at that time. I think my first annuals.
