maybe the only good thing to come from ai breaking through the art community is that it seems like it's led to more effort from artists to openly share resources and demystify the process and actually "democratize" art like ai companies try to pretend they're doing

this is nothing new at all i just think its been magnified over the last 5 or so years. i see a lot less gatekeeping and mystery and a lot more emphasis on the fact that anybody can and should be able to learn how to create anything. everybody is an artist! you dont need ai to make yourself into one
