Heya, long time on paper 3d tic tac to player here. The way I (made my friends) play was: 1. block the most central square 2. instead of ending the game on the first line, every line gives 1 point, the most points wins. 4×4 is also fun and gets very strategical

I obv felt two smart coming up with the idea back then, over 10 years ago. But there seems to be a rich history of making 3d tic tac toe games for computers. Yours look very pretty btw
