A couple days ago I made the mistake of booting up Elite Dangerous again, and when the game failed to launch, I used the "Validate Files" option in the launcher. I still don't understand how, but doing this deleted several files in two different directories that I know of in my home directory. (1/3)

One was ".config", which wasn't a huge problem since my dotfiles are version controlled with git and whatnot, but I only realized today that the directory named "sessions" was also affected. This is where all of my Ardour sessions usually go, and I now have to work from a backup I made two (2/3)
