What's maddening is just the laziness of it. EA's new owners view it as an Ultimate Team machine so they're not even bothering to *appraise* the other parts of the company. Bioware's brand alone would be worth money, but why bother looking for a buyer, it's a rounding error to them.

Everything good will eventually be swallowed by money. The sad thing is, it didn’t have to be like this. We have enough to just live, but no, we give 99% to the 1% and convince everyone that is normal. Capitalism is so fucked up.
