A very fun headline today: supreme court justice Alexandre de Moraes has ordered Flávio Bolsonaro to hand in his passports and not leave the country while he's being investigated in a money laundering probe.

Various Bolsonaro allies are engaged in various levels of soft decamping from Flávio, ranging from actively telling supporters not to protest the election result to privately telling him to recognize the result and shut the fuck up.

A major factor in this is that his party won a bunch of legislative seats in the first round of the election, so really *they* did great and *he* lost, and by making noise or delegitimizing the election he's jeopardizing their wins.

One such ally is Kassio Nunes Marques, the supreme court justice that Jair Bolsonaro appointed pretty much specifically as a favor to Flávio, and who currently presides the superior electoral court in which he's been running interference for Flávio throughout the election.

Marques specifically made a statement saying he is "absolutely confident in the entire electoral process," ie no we're not annulling the result cry about it. Sad! Used to be that sharing an underage trafficked sex worker with a guy meant you had a real bond. No one believes in loyalty any more.

The funniest part of all this is that Flávio seems to believe that he's considered a flight risk is because his brother Eduardo, who's currently on the run from the law in Florida, said on Friday that if he lost the election he should leave the country.
