Continuing my effort as an to be an informed hater, I gave in to pressure at work to start using AI coding tools to see what it is actually like. Already paid for by my company so my ethical concerns are moot anyway. After a month, my verdict: I feel like I'm on cocaine (derogatory) 🧵

Honestly it has the same amount of enthusiasm from that period, but the energy and purpose for it is demented. This is the first technology wave that has felt really bad to me. Arguably, crypto/NFTs was a harbinger of bad feelings, but I have a fondness for merkle trees.
