Mac tip! I have always held the Option key while opening the Go menu to access my Library folder. Did you know there's a brand new setting in View Options to ALWAYS show the Library in Home? What's that? It was added to Mavericks in 2013? No, I'm pretty sure it's brand new. Ok? IT'S NEW. OK???

The trick I just learned is to press Command + Shift + . (period) in any Finder window to toggle hidden files on or off.

Hiding folder specific options in View Options seems bad for discoverability!
