Seriously, I can't wait for you all to see Calling All Villains. It's some of the most fun I've ever had writing for an animated show!

Could be wrong, but I vaguely remember not Dave specifically, but another staff member on the ZAM discord mentioning they watched a ton of arcs to do research for CaV, so even if they didn’t watch all of SMG4, I’m sure they’ll be well informed and prepared.

Yea I figured. My main hope for CAV is that it’s able to make its own original story while also feeling like it still takes place in the SMG4 continuity, like working with the established lore would be a great way to reference SMG4 without feeling too obvious So I hope they did there homework lol

There are supposedly going to be tons of surprises for long time fans, so I’m hoping those nods are meaningful ones. It’s going to be a whole different world, and centered around Puzzles, but people loved him for a reason. I’m sure the past will be referenced one way or another.

It's funny because when I was younger I used to watch zamination all the time but now that I'm getting introduced to the world of Indie animation it's being brought back to me and it's pretty cool lol
