The truth is easy to see. You just have to ignore the bullshit. Truth of the matter is, nobody likes the truth. It hurts. Truth never aligns perfectly with personal bias and that's where the conflict for most people resides. Confirmation bias, tells us there must a truth that will support our belief

We tell ourselves, there must a person, a group of people that feel this way, completely abandoning the truth for a manipulated truth that makes us right. Took me a long time, traveling all over the world to different continents, living in different cultures to understand that's not true.

Truth isn't hard to see, ignoring our personal bias, ignoring our personal ideals of what truth is our how things should work is hard. Admitting we have no idea what the truth is or how to search for it is hard. Instead of admitting that flaw, we let other people explain why our bias is correct.

We let politicians tell us why our bias isn't wrong, instead of telling us what the truth is. That's what I cannot abide. The abandonment of our personal understanding in exchange for someone else's understanding because people are too lazy to do the work. That's what I hate about people.

I hate democrats and republicans because, instead of taking that responsibility and educating people, helping them understand for themselves, they use that power for their personal gain while idiots argue in the comments. I'm so tired of this fucking reality its hard to think most days
