@laurakbuzz.bsky.social Any chance I could bait you into writing about the heavy handed approach Blizzard is taking killing addons in the next WoW expansion? As it stands right now it's going to completely kill the game disabled people of all walks. It's going to brick things we've used for years.

I love your work a lot and I'm just desperately clawing for anyone to draw attention to how bad this situation is for accessibility. Blizzard's in-house solutions to replace the addons disabled people use are so poor and largely made without input from the disabled community.

Right now there doesn't seem to be much hope of them reversing course because... They're Blizzard, it's making people who rely on addons to play super anxious. All of this coming right off the heels of deaf guild Undaunted getting a lot of flowers for managing to clear the most recent raid on Heroic
