I’m obsessed with the Merlin app for birdsong identification. Also, there’s a lot of white winged doves around which means I’ve always got Stevie Nix in my head.

I like to stand outside in the morning and open that app. The sound recorder picks up so many birds.

That's strange. There are times when I can barely hear the bird but the app picks it up. Maybe it's the phone's mic or a setting?
