A month ago I started exclusively viewing instagram through the web. This inadvertently massively cut down my screen time. Sometimes terrible web performance is a good thing!

I don’t find Instagram for the web too bad certainly seem to get less ads

For me the LCP for the main feed and messages pages are quite slow. Interactions can feel a bit jank at times too. The CrUX data seems to agree. treo.sh/sitespeed/ww... I do enjoy how it cuts down on ads
