I doubt he actually is going to follow what he says. Legally speaking you are allowed to enter a home without a warrant if it's in hot pursuit. If he actually plans to follow the law that's going to be a big win. We all know that MAGA lies so... we'll see.

Does that apply to ICE, however? That's the whole point--they aren't a standard law enforcement agency. "Hot pursuit" of...someone suspected of not being a U.S. citizen?

I know it can get a bit muddy, The law actually states that has to be in Hot pursuit of a dangerous felon. We all know that ice has lied about this over and over again. So I have no faith that this will actually be followed properly.
