Made one of these magnet strips as a guerilla intervention last year because I thought our shelving cart diagrams were not following Toyota Production System principles and last week the powers that be were like "you're making a full set of those great magnets for the new carts right" 😈

I know i've been indulging in a lot of sewing talk lately but the amount of time I've been messing with cloth in the last year gave me a new, better idea for how to wrap the packing tape around these. it's not an expensive hobby ok. it's professional development

i wrap irregularly shaped objects in big sheets of plastic all the time, with lots of tucking and folding and taping. could be wrong, but it always feels like sewing/garment construction techniques would be extremely relevant and useful
