Development hours that I spend for building a new Android app: Project setup - 15h Subscription list - 23h Subscription form - 28h Details page - 15h Templates page - 12h Settings page - 15h Paywall & monetarization - 16h Import CSV files - 11h Notification - 11h Currency - 5h β†’ 160h for the MVP

I would say it cost around 1 month for the basic MVP. It was my first full Compose app, so also a bit of learning there. The CSV import wasn't necessary for the first version, but helped with the testing.

That's nice! Thanks for sharing I'm currently working on a simpler app idea and I'm already 1.5 months into the process (though life gets in the way, so no consistent work times), with still quite a few more things to do... wish me luck πŸ˜…

Do you have a 9-5 job? The 160h took my also multiple months due to the other work. Let me know if you need help with something! Wish you the best with your app πŸ™‚

No job, this is all I do! I'm a student but practically don't spend much time studying (CS stuff I know already). Just some family obligations get in the way, it's a bit tough to set aside time for deep work with many little siblings πŸ₯΄ And I often get distracted by minor technical details πŸ™ˆ
