Actually writing things yourself counts as authorship. Having a computer program spit out a mish-mash of things it stole from others isn't writing. There, solved it. You dunce

If they used Grammarly to edit their paper no. If they plugged in prompts into chat or claude, then obviously that is cheating.

Humans can edit far quicker than we can write. Does this mean what has been written is any less credible? Novel?
