Right now, 25% of the world’s population lives in a country that either has passed legislation to restrict social media use of children, or has legislation in parliament. Do Americas children deserve less protection?

I’m not proposing anything, Australia has already acted and it’s in place. Europe is acting now too, we’ve got document-less age verification for adult sites in place now (via webcam age estimation) This is happening and it’s working. US kids deserve better.

US kids absolutely deserve better. They also deserve to go to school and not worry about shooters. Nothing has been done to fix that either, but the proponents of laws like these will tell us it's to protect kids. These laws will not protect kids.

Masquerading as measures that bolster the safety of children, (the same conservatives proposing this would rather fuck a child than save one) these policies allow police state like monitoring of online activity by Palantir. A company who wants this information to fund AI warfare.
