I don’t hate my political enemies. I don’t even hate MAGA. They’re just people who’ve been told over and over that the system is rigged against them, and they’re angry. I understand that. We’re going to have to build political coalitions to create lasting change. That’s starts with empathy.

Nah, fuck them and everything they stand for. They wouldn’t piss on you if you were on fire. Time to stop trying to beat them with kindness. Stoop to their level, and lower.

I’m not advocating for kindness and love. I’m advocating for winning, and that requires talking, which requires at least seeing them as humans first

I understand. I just am so done with them and their bigotry and hatred. It’s exhausting. If I stop being emotional about it I can see from your perspective too.
