The question Britons must now ask themselves is not “will Burnham be a good PM”, (Starmer did a remarkable job given the circumstances he inherited) but “if Burnham is a good PM, how can we possibly keep him?” The west is losing the ability to assess their leaders, unless they are liars and fools.
