I feel like right now it's important to verify that things work with 6.6 and 6.5 (new Hierarchy window). But also keep an eye on 6.4 (changed InstanceID API). Then you want to support 6.3 because it's the last LTS, perhaps 6.0 which is also an LTS... and why not, 2022.3? Some people are still on it.

Why bother with the unsupported non-LTS releases?

Again, InstanceID API have changed between 6.4 and 6.5 (there were obsolete warnings before, now they produce an error) so I'm just verifying that the alternate code gated by compilation directives is correct.
