If you want to impeach Trump, start pressuring the GOP now, in particular the GOP in the senate, where 67% majority is needed. Dems had already tried to impeach Trump twice.

The events you refer to happened over 5 years ago. Since then Elected Democrats have shown thru words and actions that they have no intention of impeaching Trump again.

Dems alone cannot impeach Trump. They know that. Informed people know that. A gesture of impeachment, with full acknowledgment it won't actually impeach Trump without the GOP, can only function symbolically and should therefore be deployed judiciously. Voters can always vote out the GOP.

re: "Dems alone cannot impeach Trump." The problem is not that they can't. It's that they don't want to. Given the chance to vote to impeach twice last year, BOTH TIMES they voted for Trump. The symbolism here is clear. They hate democracy and love fascists.

In theory, a Dem can introduce an impeachment resolution at any time. The reality is that the current House Judiciary Committee is chaired by the GOP so any resolution filed is DOA. I don't see the point of introducing a resolution that will not result in anything. House Dems know & understand that.
