Everyone loves to wax poetic about "after Trump is gone". Think pieces about how to rebuild in the "post-Trump era" are apparently lots of fun to write. Trouble is that era may never come. Precisely because no one wants to work on actually getting rid of the orange fascist and his successors.

I feel like this is a good way to start a movement that loses a lot of elections after Trump is gone. These overly online Nazi types don't appeal to people

The time is never going to come because even when he's gone the millions of shitty Americans who made him president *twice* aren't going anywhere. And Democrats are spineless cowards.

I’m afraid that we’re gonna end up in the same pickle that we did after the Civil War where everybody just forgave the Confederates and acted like nothing ever happened. Sure,we had a robust reconstruction where that could’ve actually led to equal rights for all, but nooooooo! Can’t have that

Did the Communist gov't of Russia collapse when Lenin got too ill to do his job? How many decades after Juan Peron's death were the Peronist parties still dominating Argentinian politics? Many if not most dictators get replaced by other dictators. #ImpeachConvictRemove

We cannot bet everything on the idea that "post-Trump" is coming. The end of this regime cannot be taken for granted. When the Roman Republic fell they got a thousand years of tyranny. This may be our last chance right here and now. #ImpeachConvictRemove

Democrats already made this mistake by dragging their feet to hold Trump accountable after Jan 6 by taking 2 whole years to appoint Jack Smith and trying to be conciliatory instead (Biden didn’t want to be seen as “weaponizing the DOJ”). Afraid they’ll do it again (insert Goofy meme here).

This disastrous "avoid impeachment at all costs" policy has been in place for a very long time, and terrible consequences of this atrocious stupidity started getting worse and worse about 10 years ago.
