I hadn’t even thought of this stunt in the context of the “peeling” until today. Who would have ever suspected that driving a bunch of armored trucks over fresh, uncured sealant might cause it to crack? We must find these vandals and bring them to justice! 🙃

The presidential state cars (“The Beast(s)”) weigh 8-10 tons each. They didn’t drive those down the pool, I realize; they drove the SUVs. But that’s a distinction without difference because they weigh about the same. They’re both built on a medium-duty truck platform (TopKick, I believe).
