still here. still trucking. starting the day at 92k. 3.5 chapters into this storyline. the beginning has the heaviest rewriting, so it’s still pretty slow going. the primary effort every day is hunting for the fun—not just so that i can get the words in without feeling like i’m slogging…

i am trying to crawl back into this revision draft to do the drafting part today. spent the last few days getting a bit more of an outline sketched out, but after a certain point, i just have to dive in. this part—any transition from one stage or section to another—is always the hardest for me.

today’s fun, if we get to it, is an experiment. i’ve been enjoying Critical Role Campaign 4 and studying it for craft lessons and I want to see if I can apply a particular learning…but I may not get to it yet. Better get out of here and get to work.
