Think how bad off a man's life is to steal from a church. Now, think of the value of a few stolen items from a church compared to the value of a man's soul. This preacher squandered the opportunity to do real miracles but chose to protect the wrong thing.

"let the one who steals steal no more, rather let him do hard work, doing good work with his hands, so that he may have something to share with someone in need." Ephesians 4: 28

Talk about divine intervention! A pastor with martial arts skills? That burglar never saw that coming. Guess the only thing he’ll be stealing now is a lesson in respect!

I like the story from Les Miserable. When Jean Valjean is caught by police leaving the church with valuables, the pastor tell them that the items were actually gifts. This act of charity and forgiveness changes the course of Valjean’s life.

Good honest reporting...framing this in the possessive form, ie, the Pastors property. The Pastors actions from the Christians ethics perspective, is an epic fail. I could reference several NT scriptures, or episodes of Kung Fu.
