They should and need to sue passengers. No individual has the right to disrupt a flight when you have an object flying through the air with no safe options if something goes wrong.

As long as they're not targeting people with mental health issues (who probably don't have much money anyway) and just going for rich, entitled dickheads, sounds good. (I realise it won't be this simple but wouldn't it be nice?!)

Well they SHOULD! Passengers sue airlines for all kinds of reasons. I think more airlines should do the same for disruptive passengers.
