They all are

Welp 😳 Typical American catholic. 🥴 Prevost has faced criticism from advocates for clergy abuse survivors regarding his handling of sexual abuse allegations during his leadership in the Augustinian order and in Peru. allowing a pedophile to remain in his position despite longstanding accusations.

He has more in common with Trump than I would expect.

An American?! Ew

Yikes

Oh boy. I wonder how long it’s going to take before Trump takes credit for this.

Strategic choice.

Sorry Donald. You'll be Burger King forever.

First US-American. Pope Francis (born Jorge Mario Bergoglio) was the first American pontiff!

No, it's the second, Argentina is also America.

Hope he’s not a Trumpster.

Maybe they’ll cancel out and the world will reset

We won the Pope war!

U just know trumps gonna claim his photo dressed as pope influenced this

Wonder when Trump will invite him to WH. What an odd coincidence, trump had shared an image of himself in Papal vestments. Can see a lot of tacky jokes from this.

Just more AMERIKAN SHITE The Circus continues... Long live the Truman Show #lolX

Hopefully he’s not a Trumper…..

Could he only cheer at it with his grand-children

Thanks, saves me posting same thoughts 🤣

An American Pope needs a Cadillac Popemobile

Chi-town represent!

Shocking.

A clever move by the cardinals!

Did trump corrupt them? No MAGA pope…

Pope Bob. He picked Leo but it would be so much better if they just called him Pope Bob.

abstinence that" and lots of other crazy stuff. There was one year at my high school where we had like 30 students pregnant and we were a very small school

Trump will excommunicate him.

Can someone smart give me the 411

"The new Pope is a Leo. Wolf Blitzer will ask an astrologer from Akron, Ohio about the implications this has for Catholics around the world."

The first NORTH American.*

Pope Leo XIV is from the USA and the second American pope. The way the rest of the world sees it, Pope Francis was American. He was Argentinian, which is in South America.

In CNN speak I assume first “American” means first born north of the “Gulf of America” as Pope Francis was actually the first Pope from the Americas.

@leatherguyd.bsky.social , Damie boy : "They could have done better". Dude, you complained about the skin color of the others pope candidate. I guess you wanted a Russian one or one you can blackmail.

Sadly like cops, priest will always protect their own cause they don’t want their own skeletons coming out of the closet.

Keep Vance away

How soon til Shitler takes credit??

And his first order will be bringing back free hernia checks for the choir boys

Inaccurate: he is the first North American pope. There are 35 sovereign American nations :) Francis was the first American pope.

So how long until Trump takes credit for an American being selected as Pope?

Great choice, I hope he can straighten Trump out

Cage fight! Cage fight!

Not weird to have the very first US pontiff. There have been popes since 2000 yrs. The US only exists 250yrs. 🤷🏻‍♀️
