Perhaps it’s unclear to this judge, what a judge does & why they exist. Perhaps this judge has never heard of grandpa & grandpa’s ways. To be surprise & furious is an emotional reaction to a legal event that needs judicial action. Not offense.

The bigger story isn’t 430 trees. A federal judge required advance notice before major work. The government notified her at 4:55 Friday before a holiday weekend, then started cutting Saturday. By Monday, 430 trees were gone. She says the government has now lost its credibility.
