He may not be up by that much, and in TX this matters. TBH, I think his answer is great here. He reframes it as a public health issue without discounting the feelings of someone who is against it, but not part of the anti-choice movement. There are more of those than you think

Talarico was as good as you can possibly be in this forum. He disarmed every voter, validated their issues and deftly explained his positions. Way too much bible talk though. I realize he has to when confronted with it, but it’s really enough of that.

His faith is a big part of who he is. I am Christian, although not an Evangelical or fundamentalist, but I value freedom around religion (including no religion) for others and I think he does also.

Beyond the material, let's acknowledge that in the depths of one's values, there needs to be room for choices people make from different moral perspectives. Dems honor freedom of conscience. The GOP do not. We can differ yet respect the morality of one another's views, then find that common ground.

He’s so good- impossible to believe that anyone in Texas who isn’t part of a subservient cult wouldn’t vote for him over possibly the worst candidate in history.

2024: Texas recorded 1,616 murders according to FBI and state tracking data (ranking second nationally behind California). The state's homicide rate for 2024 was approximately 5.88 per 100,000 residents. The population of Texas in 2026 is approximately 32,101,064

Out-of-State Travel: Thousands of Texas residents travel to other states (such as New Mexico, Colorado, and Kansas) for care, with external estimates showing over 28,000 to 35,000+ out-of-state resident abortions per year. did they use a trump condom
