been getting robocalls for over three months from some scam lender, always from different numbers but giving me one to call. ignoring it didn't make it go away. i called them, immediately got through to a human, told them to stop calling me, and got hung up on. did it again. third time i got blocked

what i really don't get is why they'd even waste the resources calling me but i imagine all that shit is automated now, so it probably costs them fractions of a penny to call me specifically, whereas taking me off the list is only worth it if i cut into their bottom line by calling in.

i know i got blocked because instead of getting a "press 1 to be connected," it automatically says it's connecting me to an agent, and then immediately says all lines are busy, and this happens every time i call. hopefully it stops the damn calls!
