I am sick and tired of this kind of reporting. Journalist, please, I am begging you, stop taking the press releases from these ghouls as literal fact and DO SOME ACTUAL ANALYSIS. Nothing has escaped, the people running these AI experiments are simply being grossly negiligent.

Their security folks are a joke. It's absurd how everyone is preying on fear-mongering, and the biggest victims of this mess are the younger generations, who are already surrendering when it comes to anything brain-related.

If you feed an LLM prompts generated by the responses from another LLM and simply leave it for days at a time in an endless loop, *of course* things like this will happen. Throwing up your hands and going "oh, look what the AI did!" is obfuscation. YOU did it, OpenAI.

I read a pretty good analysis last week that basically said the fraudsters and shysters are coming up with this 'oo it'll kill us all' schtick because it's still burning several forests' worth of money with no profit so they need 'time' to 'tame it' and 'please give us more cash.'
